Be specific. What you'd ramp into rather than walk in already knowing.

Name it plainly. Interviewers respect a straight answer about your gaps.

I have not led a direct-to-consumer organization. My last three roles have all been B2B.
Why the reach is manageable
The fundamentals, reading customer signal under noise, sequencing investment against retention, and earning trust with a research function, are the same work I have been doing. The surface changes, the muscle does not.
